Programas de rehabilitación preoperatoria (“escuelas de pacientes”)
Está indicado emplear una combinación de anestesia neuroaxial con o sin bloqueos regionales, y un protocolo multimodal de analgesia postopertaoria que no limite la función motora postoperatoria ni prolongue la estancia hospitalaria. La anestesia neuroaxial parece reducir las náuseas postoperatorias y acortar la estancia hospitalaria, comparado con anestesia general(1,2). Los bloqueos periféricos pueden reducir el dolor postoperatorio, prevenir complicaciones asociadas al uso de opiáceos y mejorar la función postoperatoria precoz(3-6).
Traumatología y COT 4. Se recomienda emplear anestesia neuroaxial, combinado con protocolos de anestesia regional y/o multimodal
