Tromboprofilaxis
El baño la noche anterior a la cirugía ha mostrado su efectividad en la prevención de la infección del sitio quirúrgico, según consta en la primera edición de la Vía RICA.
La importancia del baño o ducha la noche anterior a la cirugía es un hecho aceptado, como lo es la reducción del número de colonias bacterianas por el hecho de bañarse(1-3). Sin embargo, según recogen diferentes guías de práctica clínica, la evidencia es moderada(4).
32. Se recomienda la realización de baño completo previo a la cirugía.
